At just four years old, he attended his first NASCAR race with his dad after receiving free tickets — a moment that sparked a lifelong love for motorsport. From that day on, Derek was hooked, spending years watching races, studying drivers, and dreaming about the day he would compete himself.

Now 16, Derek has taken that dream to the track. He began karting professionally last year and has already committed himself to developing the discipline, skill, and mindset required to compete at a high level. For Derek, racing isn’t just about participating — it’s about pushing limits, improving every session, and constantly working toward the next step.

His ambitions reach far beyond the kart track. Derek’s goal is to climb through the ranks of motorsport and compete at one of the highest levels of racing in the world.
